Sterling Brewster is the President of 1st Round’s Sports division. Having a tremendous passion for sports and an entrepreneurial intuition, Brewster leads efforts on the Smart Shield® athletic wear. Originally from Rancho Santa Fe, California, Sterling now lives in Los Angeles where 1st Round is headquartered. He is a tastemaker of sorts, and is heavily involved with the design of breakthrough sports technologies.
His experience includes internships at the leading NFL sports agency Athletes First, as well as being a member of the USC Sports Business Association. Sterling is also a member of the Kairos Society, a global student run entrepreneurial organization. Brewster joined 1st Round when the sports division was started in 2010 with a vision of creating a full service sports agency. After a change in strategy, 1st Round believed it better to be in a product-based business, developing the future of smart clothing. Sterling is an integral part of creation and development in the first ever "energy-emitting" athletic apparel with revolutionary ion-red DNA® technology.
Brewster’s knowledge and network will help 1st Round Sports grow the Smart Shield® into the industry standard for athletic apparel. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Letters from the University of Southern California in 2011; Sterling's education featured a keen emphasis on the sports industry, and it's entities.
