Zack Johnson

Zack Johnson is the President of the 1st Round Records division. As a philanthropist and entrepreneur focused in music, and entertainment, Zack Co-Founded the Dance For Paralysis foundation.  Johnson lead 1st Round Records to tremendous success by executive producing Sam Adams debut album “Boston’s Boy,” that reached #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop chart. Zack then went to London to A&R Adams mixtape “Party Records,” which had over 50,000 downloads in the first month. He has gone on to sign three more acts in the Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B genres.

Hailing from Marblehead in the north shore of Massachusetts, Johnson attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.  He kicked field goals for the Minuteman football team, and studied business management with a minor in marketing. After studying in UMass, Zack decided it was time for a change of scenery.  He moved to Los Angeles, California where he runs the day to day of the record label and foundation.  Zack has always been around music and is always open to new styles of sound. From the beginning Zack has stressed that 1st Round Records is not a hip-hop label, nor a rock label. If you have talent and you have something fresh to bring to the table then he wants to provide you with all the resources necessary to take your talent to the next level, with first class treatment all the way.

Previously Zack has excelled in sales jobs for Cutco Knives, and selling Power Plate fitness machines.  Zack is a member of the Kairos Society, an organization of young entrepreneurs working to create billion dollar solutions to solve world challenges. Every year entrepreneurs from all over the world meet at the NYSE to present there business’s at the global summit. Zack has taken full advantage of this society and now has contacts all over the world.
